At the base of the sword is a tab that can be removed in order to replace the blade if needed. When closing the sword, MAKE SURE TO PUT YOUR HAND OVER THE TAB and lightly tap the sword down against a hard surface.
THE HARDER YOU FLING OUT THE BLADE, THE MORE DIFFICULT IT IS TO GET BACK IN THE HILT.
